A Quick Note On EV Safety

While this site is designed to show you the progress we have made while designing the Fig-Leaf, it is not intended as a guide or instruction manual. If you are considering converting your own Figaro to electric or converting an entirely different car, safety should be your primary concern both in the construction and in the design. You may well be working with voltages and chemicals you have never dealt with before so it is important to ensure that you have had the proper training and use the right equipment before starting.

Several courses exist for EV and Hybrid high voltage safety and many of the companies who provide EV conversion kits provide guidance on how to perform your conversion safely.
